About James Evans Financial Services

At James Evans Financial Services, we have specialised in delivering intelligent, flexible funding solutions since 2008 — spanning property finance, portfolio lending, asset funding and high-value acquisitions. Working with clients across the UK and internationally, we structure bespoke facilities tailored to individual circumstances, combining deep market expertise with a genuinely personal, start-to-finish service.

In this edition, we highlight a £1.5m portfolio remortgage, a £7.75m Ferrari funding completed in seven days, a market update Q&A with Rachel, new green borrowing products, and the key lending trends shaping 2026. As always, our team is here if you’d like to discuss anything further.

Nationwide 0% Green Additional Borrowing

Nationwide Building Society is offering existing mortgage customers the opportunity to borrow £5,000–£20,000 at 0% fixed interest for 2 or 5 years to fund eligible energy-efficient home improvements.

The borrowing must be used in full for qualifying upgrades such as solar panels, heat pumps, A-rated windows, EV charging points and other sustainability improvements. The property must remain habitable during the works, and customers must have made their first mortgage payment before applying.

At the end of the fixed period, any remaining balance will revert to Nationwide’s Standard Mortgage Rate, with options to switch subject to eligibility. This is strong example of lenders supporting greener home investment. To find out whether your eligible contact one of our brokers today.
