Equity-Backed Lending
Equity-Backed Lending provides loans to Professional Investors secured against public equities, specialising in collateral where traditional lenders are unable to offer favourable terms whether due to market cap, sector, volatility, etc. Equity-Backed Lending is suited for clients with an existing investment portfolio who wish to leverage their portfolio in pursuit of higher investment returns or for diversification reasons or who have short-term liquidity needs. Single lines of stock can also be looked at for business owners post IPO on indexes across the world not just FTSE & AIM.
Overview of Terms:
- Loan size can be from USD250,000 up to USD100MN.
- LTVs typically range between 60% – 65% with the potential of up to 70% for more liquid stocks.
- Interest rates are fixed between 3% – 4% payable quarterly in arrears with the loan principle repaid at maturity.
- Transaction fees typically between 1% and 3% of funds drawn down.
